I have written all my life, in one form or another. I originally trained and worked as a journalist on the Hamilton Press.
Dean and I then moved to Nelson to pick apples and write our first novel, The Driftwood Seekers. We have since co-authored a second novel, The Water Race. This is the hardest project I have ever undertaken, and I admire anyone who embarks on the mission to create a book.
I moved into policy planning at Nelson City Council, where I worked on freshwater, sustainability and a range of bylaws. I am now a self-employed writer and editor, working for both councils and solo professionals.
Here's a link to information about our books.
We live in Tahunanui, Nelson with Max, who reminds us to live in the present and to appreciate the simple, good things in life.
